The format of the El poder del amor programme was created in order to mix doses of emotion, tenderness, sentiments and spectacularism with love and reconciliation as common denominators. Love, in all its facets, was the star of this reality show presented by Silvia Jato, who had the bad luck of competing on the Friday starting with the broadcast of one of the very popular super-productions by a rival channel. For this reason ratings were below the expected share and only two programmes were shown.
