This year, Operación Triunfo will also be putting the OT CHAT into service, the pioneer programme that made the internet and mobile telephoning a part of the TV experience. This year the CHAT will once again be hosted by Įngel Llącer, the same man who headed the most successful edition of the CHAT on Operación Triunfo IV, which became late-night television's hands-down leader with an average viewing share of 36.4% and peak viewing shares of 50,3%.
This year's OT VI CHAT will be more interactive than ever, drawing on all the advantages offered by today's latest technologies. Thus, viewers will be able to really become a part of OT, via SMS text messages, voice messages, video calls, live webcam connections, and more. Any OT fan can simply use his/her computer, mobile phone or fixed phone to access the CHAT directly and ask the participants questions, talk with Įngel Llącer, see the inside of the Academy, find out the secrets behind the gala night performances, and win souvenirs from the show. To make this happen, every Tuesday night after the OT gala performance Įngel Llącer will offer different scenarios, games and riddles on a special, unique and ever-changing show that enables fans to become a part of Operación Triunfo unlike ever before.
