La Noche de las Videoteces was Óscar Martínez’s debut on prime time television. The host met his match in these three editions that had the entire family rolling in laughter for an hour and a half, at the madness and oddball situations presented. Three gala shows offered the best comedy videos of the year from all around the world. Featured were the funniest home videos, adverts, and hidden cameras from everywhere on earth, sprinkled and spiced up with hilarious skits and a few gags that delighted the studio audience and home viewers alike. In its first broadcast this was one of the highest rated prime time shows, taking 24.2% of the viewing share and 2,880,000 viewers.
