Combining the word quiz with cultural might lead one to initially believe that this could be a boring programme or, at least, of a rather elite kind. Absolutely nothing of the kind occurred with the broadcasting of the programme Quin any va ser?, a quiz that covered, through images, 50 years of passionate world history from 1940 to 1990. Three couples competed in this new television adventure by Gestmusic, which had the support of a private Catalan production company specialising in historical and cultural programmes, Mercuri SGP, the creator, among other hits, of the historical series for TV3, Ten recordes?.
The presenter of this enjoyable quiz, who put the memories of at least two generations to the test, was Constantino Romero, a total expert in these matters. Facts as relevant and curious such as the disappearance of the trolley buses, the arrival of tourist number 10 million in Spain or the revolution of the carnations in Portugal, were some of the topics of questions in the show, in which the whole family took part. |
