The programme Sin vergüenza broke all the moulds. People in the street were the stars in this original quiz that entertained all in the summer of 1992 and which was packed with very funny tests. The programme was so successful that the format was sold to television companies as far apart as Argentina and Turkey.
The actress Ángeles Martín presented, every day and during prime time, the funniest half hour on Televisión Española, which obtained audience records within its time range. It featured two contestants who had to pass five tests that were undertaken in the street. For example, the actress Amparo Moreno went around with a set of scales and convinced people to weigh themselves. The contestant had to guess the exact weight. A simple but very difficult game.
Another test was organised by the singer from the Orquesta Platería, Manel Josep and the pianist Francesc Burrull. Armed with a piano and microphone, they wandered the streets encouraging people to sing old and new songs. The contestant also had to sing them word for word. The multifaceted Pepe Rubianes also collaborated on one of the sections of this shameless programme in an odd part in which the beginning of a story
was told and the contestant had to guess the end.
These and other studio-based tests, simple, funny and very original, made Sin vergüenza one of the most popular quizzes on television. |
