In September 1998 Antena 3 Televisión launched one of the most popular cultural quiz shows of the channel since it was original, exciting and funny. Every afternoon, from Monday to Friday, and later during a second stage, at the weekend, Constantino Romero presented this unique quiz that had viewers on the edge of their seats for two seasons.
Alta Tensión made its way back to the screen in January 2006. Broadcast on Cuatro every afternoon, Luis Larrodera hosts this panel game show.

Three contestants meet the challenge of the first round questions: a single subject with 16 possible answers, 10 true and 6 false. For each correct box selected, the contestants win money, which adds up on their scoreboards. Yet a single wrong answer will bring their scores back down to zero.
Each day, only one contestant will make it to the final round: an exciting race against the clock. Here, the contestant is faced with a panel of 12 possible answers. He/she who manages to find the 7 correct boxes in one minute will drive away in a new car.
A game of strategy and risk, skill and memory where money comes and goes, moving up and down like a roller coaster on our contestants’ scoreboards, with no shortage of high tension.
