Eurojunior was born on 8 September 2003. Featured on this show were 13 kids selected from among the 3000 candidates who showed off their artistic and creative talents to represent Spain on 15 November 2003 in Copenhagen, in the very first Junior Eurovision Song Festival. After weeks of preparation at the Eurojunior Academy and live gala night performances where the young stars displayed their art, Gestmusic sent Sergio to the Festival, positioning Spain in a much-desired second place. A year later Gestmusic would send Maria Isabel to the Festival, making music history, as she took first place in the song competition.
Many national and international artists supported this project with their music, including Anastacia, Marc Anthony, Álex Ubago, David Bisbal and others.
