The programme Mira, mira, for TV3 and ETB and Vídeo y Medio, for Canal 9, arose almost at the same time. The format was a veritable puzzle of music, jokes, home videos, hidden cameras, and above all, a big dose of comedy. Montse Guallar presented the Catalan version; Idoia Bilbao was the master of ceremonies on Basque television and Juan y Medio presented the version for Canal 9.

This entertaining slot was broadcast daily in the afternoon and had many sections. One of the star parts of the comedy programme were the hidden cameras from different countries, taken from the famous Just Kidding as well as Japanese productions. Another section of the show was the photo booth, a passport photo machine that spoke to the customers. The majority of people obeyed the ridiculous orders of the machine, telling them to pull strange faces and repeat the photos a million times. Incredible as it may seem, the majority duly obeyed. The imitations of strange sounds (different animals, crying babies, opening doors) by people of different nationalities; the incredible definitions made by children; the music videos and famous songs to the rhythm of bangs and other sarcastic comments from the home videos; the gems cultivated by the famous (best comments and priceless moments); sports and jokes by the general public, among others, were other sections of the programme that the presenters themselves seasoned with gags on the set.
